I've seen 'em both and if you've never seen him there's no doubt Al's the pick. First of all, he's been out of action for much of the past 2 years, so getting to see him's a rarer thing. Second, watching the man go from whisper-soft to a blazing roar on a dime is one of the most beautiful and powerful things I've ever seen. He'll break your heart and rock your head off... sometimes in the same song. He's touring with a tremendous band and if his guitarist, Jon Dee Graham, doesn't make your jaw drop at least once I'll be stunned. I love the Bastards but it's Alejandro, hands down. Believe it.
