I’m going to let you in on a secret. The National are quickly becoming one of my favorite bands. Expect their album, Alligator to land somewhere in my Top 5 of 2005. Simply amazing mate !!! I love The National, i am agree with you “Alligator” the best album of 2005. Thank you so much for the Black Session, the audio quality is perfect.
I’ve seen them on live in Rome last summer, great concert…

ive been hooked on these guys from july of this year …i worked at american eagle and “able” was on our in store play. hooked from then on..now im trying to find “sad songs ” , “cherry ” , and “self-titled” because no one here has them in town.

Thanks for the lowdown. I love the Black Sessions but I was missing a few of these tracks. As good as they are on record, they may be even better live. Can’t wait to see them again in October.
