Best of 2005

My bags are packed and tomorrow I board a plane to Japan for a much anticipated vacation. I will be ringing in the New Year in Tokyo, and plan to tour the rest of the country with two of my best friends. In the next few days, this blog may remain unchanged, or it may change into a journal of my jaunt through Japan. Either way, it’s been an amazing year for music and this blog. Your Top 10 includes records I love and didn’t see on many lists, including my own (M. Ward, Lucero, and Magnolia Electic Co. — all three made amazing records in 2005). Very good list.

Have fun in Japan Ryan!! You and Jake should have a good time terrorizing all of the tiny Japanese people. And yes, you should keep your resolve and definitely charge $5 for a picture with the red headed giant! :o)

Coolness for you! Hey, if you see any Japanese teenagers rocking out to Vanilla Ice would you hit them with some sushi for me?
