I just got to my hotel, it’s 9pm here. We are staying at a pretty sweet place, although it was very hard to find. Thankfully, we’ve all gotten the chance to take showers and are now prepared to check out the night life.
The flight was nice, I was able to sleep for probably 75% of it. I can’t even begin to tell you how hard it is to find places in this city. Addresses are divided into 3 numbers; ward, block, and buliding. That’s helpful, but they aren’t arranged in any particular order. We are staying in the 6th ward (village), on the first block, in the second building. If it was only that easy to find, we’d probably have about 3 beers in us by now.

If you post comments make sure they are PG-13, as some of my younger family and friends will be checking in here.

Sorry to double post, but I just looked up the local time in Tokyo, you’re 6 hours behind me, but a day ahead of me. It’s almost New Years there, that is nuts! So Happy New Year in advance!!

Hey, it’s a good thing you guys spent so much time at the Karaoke Kid! Sake bomb practice and all. Good luck navigating!
