This week I’ll be seeing two shows. The first is Richard Buckner along with Doug Gillard of Guided By Voices at Cafe Montmartre on Monday, February 6th. Tickets are $17 online at Virtuous, or $15 at the door, but I wouldn’t bet on getting one of those because I think this show will (and should) sell out.
The second show of the week is Jim White and The Handsome Family at the Orpheum Theatre on Friday, February 10th. Tickets are $15 in advance, or $17 online at Virtuous and day of show.

i like the quiet menace of jim white..i might not buy the album, but this track is a grower..

Folks, dont solely base your thought on White strictly on motorhome. He has a variety of “sounds” he milks.

This show was really great. A lot of people turned out, and they were quite the entire time. Doug Gillard made this show fantastic for me. He complimented Richard’s sound so well.
