Today is the release of the new Drive By Truckers album, A Blessing and a Curse. I’m happy to offer up a copy of this album as a contest to my readers. I can definitely say that this is one of my favorite records so far this year, and it continues the great run of albums by this band.
In order to participate in the contest please provide a comment below telling me the last album you purchased. A winner will be chosen at random on Friday afternoon.
Please make sure to catch the Truckers on tour, I’m looking forward to their performance at the Pabst Theatre in Milwaukee on May 18th.
CONTEST HAS ENDED:
ALEX IS THE WINNER with her entry:
Josh Ritter – The Animal Years
Irving – Death in the Garden, Blood on the Flowers

Woooooo first comment. Being up this early does have it’s advantages.
Last album I bought was The Old Soul (band from Toronto) although I’m going to pick up the Sweet/Hoffs album sometime this week.
Keep up the good work and thanks.
