Drive By Truckers contest

Today is the release of the new Drive By Truckers album, A Blessing and a Curse. I’m happy to offer up a copy of this album as a contest to my readers. I can definitely say that this is one of my favorite records so far this year, and it continues the great run of albums by this band.

In order to participate in the contest please provide a comment below telling me the last album you purchased. A winner will be chosen at random on Friday afternoon.
Please make sure to catch the Truckers on tour, I’m looking forward to their performance at the Pabst Theatre in Milwaukee on May 18th.

ALEX IS THE WINNER with her entry:

I picked up Why? “Elephant Eyelashes” after their set on Saturday night. I have only listened to it once, but it is intriguing. And in an hour or so I will have “A Blessing and a Curse” unless B-Side is out. So I guess I should withdraw my name from contention, shouldn’t I?
