While definitely not music related, I must pass on this website established to help former Saved By The Bell star, and current Wisconsin resident Dustin Diamond (aka Samuel “Screech” Powers) save his house. Today’s Milwaukee Journal Sentinal reports that Screech owes quite a bit of money and is facing foreclosure on his home outside of Milwaukee, and decided the best way to make some money is by selling $15 t-shirts.

Aren’t we forgetting that Screech has an Alexander Hamilton in his pants (unerect)?!? He should be able to come up with the money, no problem.

This is the saddest thing I’ve heard all week. The loss is more than the houses of our beloved 90s TV celebrities… it’s our very hopes and dreams.

Back in 2005 I saw “Screech” in Ann Arbor at his stand up show. I think I paid $12 for my ticket, $15 for a polaroid with him, and $42 to get myself drunk enough to make it through the show. Poor poor “Screech”. And in case anyone is wondering he is unable to sign autographs or polaroids “Screech”, only “Dustin Diamond”. I feel terrible for him. Thanks for sharing the news Ryan!
