Last week while in Washington, I stumbled into the Claude Taylor Photography store. I ended up purchasing five prints and I couldn’t be happier with them. If you’re ever in DC, make sure to make sure to stop in and check out his work.

This weekend is the Intonation Music Festival in Chicago. I’ll be heading down on Saturday morning. I’m really looking forward to seeing Jose Gonzalez, Bloc Party, and The Streets for the first time.

Mark Farina is set to release “Ministry Of Sound Sessions” on August 15.

For the Sessions series Mark decided to show his full range of jackin’ beats and the result is a master class in mixing, seamlessly taking the mix up and down, combining deep vocals with rolling drum rhythms and upfront electronics, but maintaining a classic house backbone.
