Lucero is one of my favorite bands.  They have a newly redesigned website and lead singer Ben Nichols is about to embark on a brief solo tour this month.  I’m excited that the July 27th date matches up with my plans to be in Philadelphia.

The most exciting news is that Lucero has set a release date for their new album, Rebels, Rogues, and Sworn Brothers, due out September 26th.  Last year’s Nobody’s Darlings cracked my top five albums of 2005, and is still in constant rotation.  Needless to say, I am pretty excited about the new album.
