I decided that with Lollapalooza coming up I wanted to debut my new layout, so I hope you guys really enjoy it. I’m not finished with the new design, but I’m pretty stoked with the way things are looking right now. Please let me know if you have any suggestions on improvements or suggestions, I’d honestly love to hear them.
I couldn’t have gotten this new look off the ground had it not been for Kyle and Jake for the website stuff, and big thanks to reader Dan from Milwaukee who designed our new banner!

VERY nice…I like the comb motif, but instead of circles, you should have octagons (I think that’s what it looks like in a honeycomb). Good idea though.

You’ve got some great levels here. Really easy to navigate and I love how you have each post in a box. Very clean.
As for the heavy rotation list of albums, I noticed that you don’t have the album title and artist pop up in a box once you scroll over the album cover. While your album covers are large, you can’t always see the name of the artist or album title.
It may not be popping up because I’m using Firefox or you may have decided not to add this feature. But if you want to and you need the code, here it is:

For the title, I usually put it like this: “TV on the Radio – Return to cookie Mountain”. But once you add this title it should allow the reader to scroll their mouse over the album cover and have the artist and album name pop up.
