One of my favorite performances of the weekend was Chicago’s very own Catfish Haven, who kicked things off on Sunday morning with a rousing set of soul drenched music which sounded perfect against the dreary sky.
Expanding itself from a 3-piece to a 9-piece with the addition of a horn section, keyboards, and lead guiter, Catfish Haven brought the impressive crowd to them in a big way. Here’s a YouTube video I shot of their first song, and my personal favorite, “Please Come Back.”
The band’s full-length album Tell Me will be released on Secretly Canadian on September 12th.
