Ted Leo & The Pharmacists will be playing UW’s Club 770 on Thursday, April 26th. Tickets will be $14 for students and $16 for the general public.
We’re still reeling from their performance at the Pitchfork Music Festival last summer. Their upcoming album Living With Living drops March 20th, which gives you plenty of time to get to know the album before hitting up the show in April.

If they want me to pay $14, I recommend playing at a real venue. Club 770 is an acoustic pit.

I second the above. Oh, and no beer…

agreed. TL is great live, but i wouldn’t pay 14$ to see him play in 770. i wouldn’t pay 14$ to see Radiohead in 770….wait. maybe i would. maybe.

Club 770 is certainly not an ideal venue, but the UW has to work with very limited options (especially for a ticketed show). I give credit to the music committee for booking a show that Last Coast / True Endeavors didn’t seem to be interested in. I’m sure this show will be great, the only downside is that it’s still four months away.

Does anyone know when and where tickets will become available? I haven’t been able to find that out anywhere and I’d hate to miss this one, even if 770 does look like a cafeteria.
