Kevin Barnes covers Neil Young, Beatles, OTC

First thing you need to do today is head to Lullabyes.net and check out the amazing performance of “Kevin Barnes, lead singer from Of Montreal, playing a solo, acoustic gig at Dallas‘ Good Records.” While there’s tons of stuff to get excited about there, we especially love the Neil Young cover of “Harvest Moon.”

You know we give big ups to the bands latest, Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer?

Also, because of my newfound infatuation with all things Of Montreal, I’ve been spending a lot of time on Rhapsody pouring through their back catalogue. Anybody got any recommendations of any of their albums prior to Satanic Panic In The Attic?

Gay Parade was the heighth of their elaborate story-song days. Very different than the present last 3 releases.
