I haven’t picked up their album yet because I just found out about it and I can’t wait to check out all their songs. You can tell they put a lot of thought and work into their songs. I love listening to it, there’s something about the country flare and really laid back feel.

The Roadside Graves were slipped out after a long road trip across America. A few of us were tired of driving and stopped in a small town for dinner. A typical meat and potatoes diner in the town of Salina, Utah. The only interesting thing about the place was it’s sign. After the meal we stopped in a bar to buy package goods to help us through another night of tents and rain. We met a bartender, her sister in law, and a few of the locals. We spent the whole night in Salina, Utah. There were a few marriage proposals, a few dances on a pool table, and some lost chances. After that night we had a song, “Song for a Dry State” and well we needed a band. period. The Dead Cat Bounce is the best song on thei rmyspace.

I throughly enjoyed this album. This music reminds me of music from a simpler time. When artists actually wrote their own songs and it is music that actually means something. It really puts me in a good mood.
