I took my time making my way to the office today. For good reason though, I was hooked on The Winterpills album The Light Divides, which was released yesterday on Signature Sounds. You’ll find a warm mixture of folk and vocal harmonies that immediately reflect the obvious similarities of Elliott Smith and Sam Beam of Iron & Wine.
There have been plenty of times I’ve lauded albums for their winter appeal/sound, and the Winterpills name is reflective of an aural medicine of sorts. As we continue to shovel our way out of our homes and into our cars here in

I think you can get 50 free emusic downloads if you go thorugh Pitchfork. You might even be able to get more, through other offers. It’s probably worth a few google searches before signing up.
