Decemberists to team with Grant Park Orchestra …

The Decemberists, in town for a two-night run at the Riviera, will return to Chicago in the summer to play a free show at Millennium Park, singer Colin Meloy announced from the stage Wednesday.

The Portland quintet will be joined by the Grant Park Orchestra on July 18 for the performance, which will be co-promoted by the Grant Park Music Festival and Metro as part of the Clark Street club’s 25th anniversary celebration.
