St. Germain - Rose Rouge

tourist.jpg

It was tough to decide which track to share from St. Germain’s brilliant 2000 release, Tourist. I settled on the opening track “Rose Rouge,” a driving jazz number with delicate drum brushing and a sexy horn combination that is just perfect for chilling out on hot summer nights or cutting through the darkness on a late night drive.

My second choice would have easily been “So Flute,” an eight minute plus epic featuring what else….flute. Yeah, this whole album is a must have once the summer hits full force. Enjoy the sunny weather!
