Everyone, myself included, thought that Mason Jennings would enjoy a much more widespread fan base when he released Boneclouds on Issac Brock’s Glacial Pace subsidiary of Sony Music.
Whether or not that’s the case, I was excited to see Mason will be performing a special solo acoustic show at the High Noon Saloon on Thursday, September 27th.

Mason is a lot of fun to see in concert. I saw him @ The Pabst recently and he did an awesome cover of Neutral Milk Hotel’s “The King of Carrot Flowers Part One”. I actually have the audio recording of it that I recorded with my Dell Axim (sounds not exactly too good though).

I was at that show as well, and really enjoyed that cover – I’ll be honest, I never expected that song to show up in that set.
