Always interested in the happenings in camp Norfolk & Western, I was delighted by the news of the recent collaboration with Portland’s Graves for a limited edition six-song vinyl, entitled Fleetwood’s Hack Collaboration courtesy of People In A Position To Know Recordings.
“Fleetwood’s Hack is the culmination of those two weeks of recording sessions; a six-song collaboration tribute to 50’s/60’s DooWop Legends, The Fleetwoods. While the name may not be familiar to many, the songs will be. “Oldies” radio staples such as Mr. Blue, To Know Her (Is To Love Her), and Come Softly To Me, are lovingly reinterpreted and reworked.”
Each of the 490 Limited Edition 10” records comes in a sleeve that was letter-pressed and numbered by hand. Short and sweet, each track is really gorgeous and worthy of your time. Check out our current favorite “Come To Me Softly” below.
