We Like: Two Gallants

two-gallants.jpg

I spent the long holiday weekend traveling from Madison to Chicago catching a baseball game and two weddings along the way. My travels were soundtracked continuously by The Scenery of Farewell EP, Two Gallants’ short but oh so sweet five song offering, released earlier this year, but recently discovered and universally adored here at MoB HQ.

While we enjoyed last year’s What the Toll Tells, none of those tracks monopolized our listening habits like the aforementioned EP. In our excitement and further investigations it became known that the group’s output for the year is far from over. Two Gallants ready a full-length, self-titled album due out September, 25th on Saddle Creek.

You can now pre-order the upcoming album and receive it in advance of the release date, we suggest the vinyl and would like to cast a vote for this one for “album cover of the year.” While you’re waiting for that to arrive, wet your appetite on two advance tracks, “Despite What You’ve Been Told” and “The Hand That Held Me Down” below.
