Loch Lomond will release Paper Thin Walls on October 9th on Hush Records. We came to know these guys from their Portland roots and their friends and musical brethren Horse Feathers, John Wienland, and Norfolk & Western – all MoB favorites on heavy rotation here at HQ. After spending time with Paper Thin Walls over the weekend, it seems like we’ll have another artist to add to the fold.

The album was recorded by Adam Selzer (who we interviewed here) of Norfolk & Western at Type Foundry in Portland where M Ward and The Decemberists have worked in the past. Having just performed at Music Fest NW their home state, the band, once a solo effort by Ritchie Young has evolved to include a full backing band. Those contributions make Paper Thin Walls a record to put on your radar, by a band who you’ll certainly be hearing more about soon.
