With the release of 100 Days, 100 Nights, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings continue to revitalize soul music in the mainstream. We got to know Sharon when she released Naturally in 2005, and since that time her records have provided the soundtrack to many cocktail hours and summer barbecues.

If you’re looking for a great place to start with a sensational soul/funk record, we highly recommend 100 Days, 100 Nights, but seriously, her whole catalog is golden as far as we’re concerned.

Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings play Milwaukee’s Turner Hall on Saturday, November 17th.
