Langerado Music Festival Line Up – March 6-9

In 2006 we attended the Langerado Music Festival, which “will relocate to the Big Cypress Indian Reservation, about 30 miles down Alligator Alley west of Ft. Lauderdale. Expanding to 4 days this year, on-site camping will be available for everyone and included in the ticket price, as well as late night shows taking place on site.” This year, the festival will take place from March 6th-9th.

Having R.E.M. on the bill doesn’t hurt, especially considering the resurgence they’ve had on our day to day listening habits of late.

I’ve made the tedious trip to the middle of nowhere (aka Big Cypress) to watch Phish ring in 2000, and I’m quite positive that driving is completely out of the question for most sane people that have jobs.

Tickets go on sale on Saturday, November 17th at noon EST. Peep the rest of the line up below, still a little jam band heavy for my taste:

R.E.M. • Beastie Boys • Phil Lesh & Friends • 311 • Matisyahu • Thievery Corporation • The Roots • Gov’t Mule • Ani DiFranco • Ben Folds • G. Love & Special Sauce • Medeski, Scofield, Martin & Wood • Built to Spill • The National • Les Claypool • Umphrey’s McGee • The Disco Biscuits • Mickey Hart Band • of Montreal • Robert Randolph & the Family Band • The Wailers • funky Meters • Citizen Cope • Antibalas • !!! • Dark Star Orchestra • Ozomatli • Sam Bush • Minus the Bear • Ghostland Observatory • Arrested Development • Blind Melon • Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars • The New Deal • Benevento Russo Duo • Perpetual Groove • Railroad Earth • Martin Sexton • The Avett Brothers • Grace Potter and the Nocturnals • The Walkmen • Dr. Dog • Indigenous • State Radio • Vampire Weekend • The Bad Plus • The Felice Brothers • Pelican • Yard Dogs Road Show • Brett Dennen • Earl Greyhound • The New Mastersounds • Dan Deacon • Josh Ritter • Pete Francis • Ryan Shaw • Blitzen Trapper • matt pond PA • The Dynamites feat. March is coming!! We’ve all waited to Langerado Music Festival. Even if this festival is still young it has grown in our minds because of the big entertainment it provides. The festival has changed last year’s place to the big Cypress National Preserve, but I can’t change my mind and I’ll attend. I prepared myself even what relates to tickets I discovered something interesting. There’s a site where to make a comparison of ticket prices for free and book where prices are reasonable:

Enjoy your time and have fun. “Be happy”!!!
