MoB: Two years ago I was burning under the Austin sun watching these guys end their set with a cover of The Who’s “Baba O’Riley” as I fueled my already dehydrated body with Heineken after Heineken. That’s Austin City Limits for you! Seriously, the only people having a better time than the audience was the band themselves, which always makes for a great live show. It’s hard for them to top If You Didn’t Laugh, You’d Cry as far as I’m concerned, but fans of the band and rock and roll will find something to believe in on this release.

MoB: Somewhat of a guilty pleasure around MoB HQ. I first came to know Sia from the final episode of HBO’s 6 Feet Under, as I’m sure a lot of people did. She was also a contributor to the chilled out and lazy sound that is Zero 7 – not really my thing, but had its bright spots, most thanks to Sia. This release find her silky voice good as ever and a must if you’ve enjoyed her on previous releases or contributions.
