One of my favorites discoveries of 2007 was Moviola’s Dead Knowledge, released on Catbird Records and ended up becoming one of my favorite records of the year. Brattleboro, Vermont based label Spirit of Orr “is releasing a collection of out-of-print singles, b-sides, comp tracks, a live track, and altogether unreleased Moviola songs (23 in all) dating back to our earliest days. “Broken Horses” will be a short run, 300 copies in hand-painted digipaks.”

Obviously, news of uncovered and long-lost recordings are of interest to me, especially in such limited quantity. That being said, I can say with certainty that there are now only 299 remaining. Grab yourself a couple preview tracks below, find yourself a nice long stretch of road, preferably around dusk and rock these as the stars fill up the sky.
