It’s been over a month since The Bell’s Make Some Quiet got our We Like stamp of approval. As the album release date now stands only one week away the band/label have generously made three tracks available as free and legal downloads to encourage you to check them out.
I’ll continue to champion this band, despite vocalist Mathias Stromberg’s calling me a “crappy listener” in the comments here for comparing them to Joy Division. Make your own judgments by downloading the tracks below and don’t pass up the videos either!
Make Some Quiet will be released February 12th on Badman Recording.
Myspace: The Bell
MP3: The Bell – “I Am History”
MP3: The Bell – “On And On”
MP3: The Bell – “Do You Know How To Feel”
Video: The Bell – “I Am History”

…hmm…I actually reffered to the “Jesus Walken” comment below the feature, not your harmless Joy Division/Cure/Interpol comparison. I just don’t think that we sound “exactky like that one band…”
So, in conclusion: love the MoB posts, don’t love the one-hit wonder comment.

I kind of excited to hear this album. The tracks that you have posted, especially “On and On,” have been getting stuck in my head. Thanks MOB, and thanks Mathias if you’re reading.
