He tried some things a little differently on that album that simply didn't work for most fans. The influence from the community of artists that Jack's put together will allow him to be more authentic which I particularly don't think happened with his last venture. That's not say Boneclouds didn't have a few good songs on it ('Godless' not being on that list), but his sound can now have a resurrection of sorts.
