Since we’ve already fawned over Blitzen Trapper, it’s only justified to mention the buzz worthy openers. Tonight could be one of those nights that you’ll reflect on in a couple of years reminiscing about the time you saw Fleet Foxes before they “got big.” Perhaps their popularity has already surged across the US, but here in Madison, they’re relative strangers, at least for a couple more hours until they warm up the stage for Blitzen Trapper at the High Noon Saloon tonight. Don’t just take our word for it, feel free to consult our friends for second opinions.
Coincidentally today also marks the release of the Fleet Foxes Sun Giant EP on Sub Pop. Pick up a copy for yourself at the show. Special request from Muzzle of Bees? Thought you’d never ask. How about covering Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams.”
Tickets for tonight’s show are a measly $8, and, last I checked, you could still get a beer at the High Noon for under $3. No brainer? Check.

If you read this in the next couple hours and you’re still half-steppin’, allow me to help you: you must attend this show. I just spent 3 years living in seattle, and of the many amazing offerings, fleet foxes were my favorite local act. oh, and dudes/dudettes, it’s only 8 bucks and starts WAAAAAAAAAAY before your bedtime. If you go tonight, you’ll never have to regret missing this show on your deathbed, which you undoubtedly will otherwise. Hope that helps your decision.
