My Morning Jacket will play Saturday Night Live on Saturday, May 10th. Their upcoming record, Evil Urges (due June 10th) sits amongst my most anticipated records of the year. If you haven’t tuned into the NPR broadcast of their set from SXSW that featured eight new songs, I highly recommend it.

Louisville fans (or die hards willing to travel) will most certainly want to catch the band in their hometown on Saturday, August 16th at Waterfront Park.
