Video: Radiohead – “House of Cards” (Conan O’Brien)

I set my alarm clock to catch the performance below live, fully realizing that it was pre-recorded and that it would be waiting for me on the internet upon waking today – I’m just that big of a fan of these guys. Since we already showed you their first performance on Conan O’Brien (“Creep”) from 1993, it’s only fitting we provide the capture from last night’s for you as well. Note: Based on dress (and setting) this was obviously recorded the same day as their brilliant version of “Bangers & Mash” on Pitchfork.tv.

Radiohead – “House of Cards” (Conan O’Brien)

We’re less than two weeks from catching them in Florida to kick start their US tour, expect a full recap upon our return. Until then, go ahead and tell me your favorite Radiohead album and/or song(s). Did you pay for In Rainbows? Do you have any high quality live recordings?

I *tried* to pay for ‘In Rainbows.’ Instead, my bank suspended my Visa as an anti-fraud measure because my American card was showing a U.K. transaction. Took a few days to deal with. I wound up downloading ‘In Rainbows’ from a torrent site in the meantime. Heh.

Now that’s a story! Wow. I had something similar happen to me a couple weeks ago buying tickets to see Nick Cave in Berlin next month.
