Jim White plays the Orpheum Stage Door tonight in Madison. Part of the beauty that is seeing a Jim White live performance is his storytelling sprinkled throughout his set as anyone who’s seen him previously can certainly attest.
I also can’t resist an opportunity to plug his performance in Searching for the Wrong-Eyed Jesus, “a captivating and compelling road trip through the creative spirit of the American South, a world of churches, prisons, coal mines, truckstops, juke joints, swamps and mountains.”
Highly recommended, as is Jim’s entire body of work, including his latest, Transnormal Skipperoo, which we’ve already encouraged you to pick up.

Ryan, I love that clip
From what I understand, Jim is putting together a whole bunch of new segments with his amusing cultural observations. I’ll send you a link when they go up somewhere.
