MP3 Premire :: James Hunter – “Jacqueline”

Let’s head into the weekend with some real excitement, OK? James Hunter readies the release of The Hard Way on June 10th, the highly anticipated follow up to his 2006, Grammy nominated album People Gonna Talk. With warm weather just around the corner, there are few artists that capture the essence of soul the way the late greats used to, James Hunter is one of those few.

Muzzle of Bees is proud to provide the first glimpse of the forthcoming record, with the first single “Jacqueline” available for free and legal download below. Highly recommended for fans of Sam Cooke and Van Morrison. Now go enjoy the weekend.

    James Hunter, not only is his music moving but as a sax player, too, I love the fact that he has a tenor and a bari man in his troup: Damian Hand and Lee Badau – wow. Fantastic, nothing like REAL instruments played by humans. Mr. Hunter is my favorite contemporary artist. I have turned on several friends and fellow music-makers to these guys. I don’t want to be snobbish, but this is so palpable and soulful, puts the stuff on the radio to shame. Just does, shake your fanny and watusi, whatever, just get James Hunter CDs and rock out!!! More soul than one man could possibly have and not be absolutely down and out destitute!!! Groupie supreme, Ava :-)

    Holy Toledo! This stuff is OFF THE HOOK! Thank you, James. Can’t wait to hit Starbucks on June 10th, dude!
