Austin City Limits 2008 :: Daily Schedule Is Here

We’re looking forward to heading back to Austin for our second time at the Austin City Limits Music Festival. It will once again take place at Zilker Park from September 26th – 28th. You can still purchase single day or three day passes.

Who’s going? Below is the daily schedule, what are your conflicts? I’m struggling with the Robert Plant & Alison Krauss at the same time Beck unveils his Modern Guilt material.

Friday / Saturday / Sunday

Yeah, the Plant&Krauss vs. Beck is by far the toughest conflict for me. Usually there are a lot more but this year everything lined up perfectly for me except for that. Friday will be fun — for me, Yeasayer -> Vampire Weekend -> CSS -> M. Ward -> Mates of State -> Jenny Lewis -> David freakin’ Bryne. Dinner break and then Manu Chao in the evening hours! What a perfect day.

  2. Ana Says:

Gnarls Barkley vs. Raconteurs is a toughie.

agreed, plant & krauss vs. beck IS a tough one. anyone ever see Beck live? i’ve heard mixed reviews.

I’ve seen Beck a couple of times and I have to say that he’s hit or miss. I’m leaning towards Plant and Krauss because I’m not sure how long that will be going on.

Beck’s got new material though, so that decision could come back to haunt me.
