If you’ve made the trek to Bonnnaroo you’re familiar with Murfreesboro, TN. I’ve spent my fair share of hours, sometimes in traffic, sometimes scouring the isles of oddities (read: bobbleheads) that some of the more local gas stations carry.
Today, I bring you Glossary from Murfreesboro, who I came to know after finding out they’ll be holding down opening duties for Justin Townes Earle and Lucero this summer. Pretty good company, and deservingly so after listening to The Better Angels Of Our Nature, which is currently available as a 100% free album download.
Highly recommended for fans of Centro-Matic, Drive By Truckers, Lucero, etc.

Glossary’s an excellent, excellent band - glad you got to hear this. It’s Murfreesboro though - don’t let them catch you with that L in there.

These folks have some of the best tunes I’ve heard in quite a while. Granted, I am somewhat biased by knowing a few of the members of the band, but these folks really know how to put out something amazing.

Agreed. I saw them open for DBT a few months ago in Memphis.
Picked up For What I Don’t Become.
Along with the free download,it’s a good way to kill a Saturday afternoon.
