Milwaukee Concert Announcement: Gary Louris

Gary Louris of the Jayhawks embarks on another trip through Wisconsin supporting Vagabonds. This time around he’ll play Milwaukee’s Turner Hall Ballroom for a very special $8.97 show sponsored by WUWM.

The show will be supported by Ike Reilly and will have to tide me over until Gary and Mark Olson make amends and hit the road together again.

Tickets: $8.97 / General Admission

Discuss: What is your favorite Jayhawks record? Did you catch Gary Louris on his last tour? Did you make Gary + Mark a few years back at the now defunct Luther’s Blues?

Of course, Hollywood Town Hall and Tommorrow The Green Grass but I’ve always loved Rainy Day Music too

I’m looking forward to hearing Ike Reilly sing “Valentine’s Day in Jaurez.”

Sound of Lies is one of the most underrated albums of the 90s. Man, Gary Louris for $8.97…wish I lived in Milwaukee.
