Johnny is a heck of a musician and a great guy. And he knows a good thing when he hears it. Backyard Tire Fire rocks so hard! I can hardly wait for their new disc!! Also, thanks to Johnny and the Crampers, I really renewed my appreciation for John Doe and X. The CVB-Cracker family has really turned me on to a lot of great music from all the bands they share stages with. Jason Isbell, Dusty Rhodes and the River Band, Dark Meat, Hackensaw Boys, Citay, Quasi, Ted Quinn, Rojer Arnold, Bugs Salcido, Ike Reilly, Roger Clyne, the list goes on!

Kevin, the world needs a new Frank Sinatra, you should know that. Cracker should never be far from the playlist. When my brain was figuring out what music was and what it should sound like, 'Low' was all over radio and MTV and it helped me formulate my opinions. Cracker has a special place in my heart and iPod. And Johnny does blow my mind on the Eurotrash solo.

Keep up that Cracker binge! The world needs more Cracker. Johnny Hickman is one of the great guitar players of our time. Check out his solo on the Redux version of Euro-trash Girl and just try not to get your mind blown.
