I woke last week in Peru with a crippling altitude headache and Radiohead’s “The Gloaming” in my head. It’s one of those songs that is eternally swimming around my head, mostly though just the repeated “it should be raining” line. In concert, I love to watch Thom Yorke bust out his frantic dancing during the tune - like he’s dodging a prize fighter.
See for yourself:

Thom is quite the dancer….

Nitpick: “It should be ringing” is the line. In reference to the alarm bells.

“They should be ringing” rather.

I agree alex that the lyrics say “ringing”, and it goes with the “alarm bells” line, but in concert, (you know how Thom can ramble) it appears that Thom is saying “raining”. The lights during that part of the song, is a visual of rain. (?)
Of course adding more confusion.
