		<description>I&#039;d have to agree with your initial assessment - this is one of my favorite albums to have come out in the last couple of months.  Several listens into it, and I&#039;m thinking that it&#039;ll end up on my year-end Top 20 list for sure.

Having not been a fan of the previous Islands releases, I didn&#039;t know what to expect.  I think it retains Nick Thorburn&#039;s unhinged vocal attitiude, but Jim Guthrie adds a down-to-earth folk vibe that&#039;ll make this appealing to a larger audience - for better or worse.

Try tracks 1, 2, 6, and 9 for highlights - these tend to be the more upbeat tracks, which is not to say that the gentle acoustic moments should be skipped over.</description>
