Unfortunately the one I played sounded pretty bad. That of course has nothing to do with Tweedy, but the guitar was quite aweful for the money. It had no real character to the sound. I have played many other 12 fret guitars for half the price that sounded twice as good. On the other hand it is nice to see Breedlove depart if ever so briefly from their bizarre ideas of what a guitar should be. They have quite possible invented the worlds ugliest bridge.

I feel your money is better spent on a vintage instrument or at least one that will hold its value as time wears on. I just don’t see this model becoming as iconic as the singer himself.
