The Dutchess & The Duke earned themselves a damn fine score (8.2) on P4K for their debut album She’s The Dutchess, He’s The Duke. That review was instrumental in bringing the record to the surface of the ever growing promo pile, and, what do you know, the fork folks were right!
“Compared to “Between The Buttons”-era Stones, Dylan, and Leonard Cohen, The Dutchess & The Duke’s songs mark a turning point for Kimberly Morrison and Jesse Lortz. Each song touts magnetic guitar lines and vocals so straightforward that they belie all other intricacies.” (Amazon)
Milwaukee fans can catch the group at Y Not III on Monday, September 8th.
