Magnetic Fields have always put me to sleep. The're not bad, but I just get bored with them. The BSS show was simply mindblowing. Wall of sound is a perfect way to describe it. It's amazing you can get that many guitars at the same time at a live show like that and it still sounds that good.
Anyone able to deny or confirm if in fact that was a Do Make Say Think song they opened up with? I swear they played the opening track from History in Rust, "Bound to be That Way".

Anyone happen to have a set list? I really liked "Cause=Time" and finally found out what album it's on. I've got the two most recent ones...Brendon Canning did the soundtrack and score to "Half Nelson". Great flick, btw.

I opted for BSS and was not disappointed. LOT opened....Liz Powell is awesome, but I was not impressed with their set. Liz on gutar, one more guitar and drums. Kind of stark and unexciting...plus her vocals sucked. BSS was another story, and Liz was on stage a good portion of the time with them. They really put out a wall of sound...at one point Brendon got a little irritated at the lack of enthusiasm from the audience. Still a great show....
