Having just seen Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings at Lollapalooza and at Red Rocks, I can enthusiastically endorse their live set. Brimming with energy atop a funk/soul foundation, it’s a live experience that few can match.
Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings will play the Barrymore Theatre in Madison on Wednesday, December 3rd.

This is the most excited I’ve been for a Madison concert since the Magnetic Fields! $20 is pretty steep but it’ll be well worth it, as long as the Barrymore is able to clear out some room for dancing.

$20 doesn’t seem steep to me. That being said, I’ve seen here enough to know she’s worth it. Plus, she’s got a good sized band behind her. Lay your money down and I promise you after the show, you won’t even remember/care what you paid.
