The Rosebuds played our favorite show of 2007 with an unforgettable performance at SXSW. A performance like that will make you a fan for life. It was also the performance that helped land Night of the Furies at #5 on our favorite albums of 2007.

We’re also quite fond of former Wisco residents, The Hood Internet, who now just a couple hours away in Chicago are at the forefront of the mash-up era. Seriously kids, grab their Mixtape Volume 3 if you need any convincing.

Bringing this altogether is The Hood Internet’s mix of T-Pain’s “Cant Believe It” (”Put you in the mansion, somewhere in wiscansin”) and The Rosebuds‘ “Life Like.” Download it here.

The Rosebuds along with MoB favorites Megafaun and The Celebrated Workingman will play the High Noon Saloon on Friday, November 14th. Tickets are a steal at $10.
