Hands down one of my favorite songs of all time. Tough song to cover on acoustic guitar, but this is not good.
I don’t mind the Gaslight Anthem – slightly contrived, but any band the wears that much Springsteen on their sleeve can’t be TOO bad. Just picked the wrong Bruce song to cover

@ Scott – I feel similar – I want to like GLA more than I do, but the recycling of others lyrics borders on theft, at the very least uncreativity – and even if I wasn’t a huge Springsteen fan, this acoustic “Backstreets” is a massacre.
“The ’59 Sound” has some fist-pumping, bonafide hits – but the video above comes off like a guy doing his first open mic.
