Great find! I was at that show and it was a magical night indeed. Saw many great alt.country shows for a couple of years there: Whiskeytown, Mike Ireland, Robbie Fulks, Dale Watson.

Man, to think that I could have seen him at the Club Tavern in 1998 makes me regret all of the missed opportunities in my freshman year of college even more – I was probably drunk at some basement party. Thanks for putting this up.

Just saw Alejandro on Monday…first time in a couple years. A simply amazing show! Encore alone: Zevon’s “She’s Too Good For Me”, “Swallows of San Juan”, “All the Young Dudes”, “I’m Waiting for the Man”, and a sing-a-long “Beast of Burden”! Thanks for posting this one!
