My Morning Jacket :: I Will Be There When You Die

Here’s an older video capturing Jim James playing one of my favorite My Morning Jacket tunes in a parking lot. In the middle he discusses love and it’s pretty heart-on-your-sleeve stuff. Have a nice weekend and love the one you’re with.

this is so great. sometimes, musicians remind us why their music touches us in deeper ways than we might imagine.

is this from a longer documentary of some sort?

That KVRX show is one of the best things in the internet archive. The versions of “Just Because I Do” and “I Needed It Most” are the ones I turn to when I need a pre-It Sill Moves fix. Always blows my mind when that guy gets all echo-y.

Thanks for the video. Middle bit made me want to hug my wife.
