Madison Concert Announcement: The Thermals

the-thermals

How exciting! The Thermals are finally coming back to Wisconsin. They’re playing the High Noon Saloon on Tuesday, April 28th. Their 2006 release, The Body, the Blood, the Machine was nothing short of fantastic. The Shaky Hands and Point Juncture support the show. At $10, you’ve got yourself a steal Madison.

This just made my day. Not to downplay The Thermals or anything, but I’ve wanted to see the Shaky Hands live for quite some time, and it just so happens that I had them on while reading this post, odd.

Anyone have first impressions on “Now We Can See” the song?

At first I wasn’t too taken with it but now it’s grown on me a lot. Definitely rewards on repeat listens. The Oh-A-Ah-Ohs have gone from seeming slightly uninspired to catchy as hell.

    Agree/Disagree?

Also, SUPEREXCITED to see that The Shaky Hands are opening – I’ve been meaning to catch both bands live for quite a while – Point Juncture, WA seems like they might be a great live band as well.
No way I’m missing this one.
