I walked away from Scott H. Biram’s set at Austin City Limits last year a true believer. It was hot and sweaty and barely past noon. I was nursing a hangover with a steady intake of ice cold Heineken. That’s the ACL way, or at least our way. His music is gritty, raw, and in your face. He evokes the true outlaw charm of original country music and his sound sits at the crossroads of where punk, country, and blues collide.
Scott plays Linneman’s in Milwaukee on Friday, April 3rd. Expect to hear new material from the forthcoming album, Something’s Wrong/Lost Forever, due in May via our friends at Bloodshot Records. It’s also the night before Scott’s birthday, so expect some whiskey at the stroke of midnight.
