For all the ire Kanye West provokes, his arrogance is more of an act than anything; he limits most of his antics to the stage. With Good Music he's assembled the most soulful rap collective since Okay Player, if not Native Tongues. I'm jealous I wasn't able to get into that Fader show. And Kid Cudi us probably as close to a sure-fire next-big-thing as there was at SXSW this year. His confidence is unbelievable, and he had the crowd singing along to songs that haven't even been released yet. That dance remix of "Day N Nite" is rough on the ears, though. Jodi nailed this one.
