Muzzle of Bees photographer Ed Oliver hit up High Noon Saloon last night to check out the triple bill of Heligoats, Plants and Animals, and Clem Snide. Once again (and with thanks to Kate!) he returns with some amazing shots from the night! Clem Snide is out in support of their latest record, Hungry Bird, which we can definitely recommend. Via Ed’s Twitter, it sounds like Plants and Animals were pretty sweet live as well.
Drop a comment with your thoughts/reviews if you were in the crowd.

Nice pics. But a couple of things: the show was at High Noon, not Montmartre. And the band is named “Clem Snide” – the singer is named Eef Barzelay.

Baller pics ,dude. Plants and Animals were definitely the highlight. Why isn’t Rolling Stone all over that band? That was a beautiful display of talent.

I agree, Kyle, Plants And Animals were definitely the highlight. An extraordinary band. ‘Ambition, spirit, a sense of grandeur, that fills you up and makes you excited about life’ (Montreal Gazette). The Juno Awards, like the Canadian Grammies, are handed out Saturday March 28 in Vancouver. P&A are up for two, Best New Group, and Best Alternative Album ‘Parc Avenue’.

I dealt with 4 photographers on the left side of the stage. They all were rude. My only complaint of the show.
Plants & Animals killed and should have kept the headliner at Frequency.
